Misti Morningstar is accepted
into the
International Academy of the Visual Arts
Frederick, MD – January 11, 2008 – Misti Morningstar,
President of Morningstar Design Inc, a full-service advertising
and marketing firm and one of Maryland’s Top 100 MBE companies
located at 10 East Church Street, has been selected to become
a member of the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA).
The IAVA is a membership-based organization of leading professionals
from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing
progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive
media.
The four primary goals of the IAVA are: Facilitating the vibrant
exchange of new ideas, business models and trend information in
the visual arts; To sanction and oversee awards and recognition
programs - to identify and reward excellence in the visual arts;
To provide a networking opportunity for members of the IAVA for
professional advancement; To educate members and promote innovative
thinking about the constantly changing nature of media, including
advertising, print, film, television and interactive.
Miss Morningstar stated, “I was nominated by the Executive
Director of IAVA, and when I found out… that was really
a special day for me! My firm enjoys originating successful advertising
and marketing solutions for the business people in our community
and beyond. It’s quite a joy to participate at this level
and to see the vast creativity that exists amongst people in my
industry across the country.”
Members are selected to join the IAVA and membership is restricted
to only qualified professionals. As a member Miss Morningstar
will participate in judging global competitions sanctioned by
the IAVA, a prestigious honor.
