Misti Morningstar
Appointed to Business Advisory Council
Washington
D.C. — The National Republican Congressional Committee announced
that Misti Morningstar has been appointed to serve on the Business
Advisory Council (BAC) in recognition of valuable contributions
and dedication to the republican party.
Morningstar will serve the state of Maryland
and is expected to play a crucial role in the Party’s efforts
to involve top business people in the process of government reform.
The Business Advisory Council is part of the
National Republican Committee, and is dedicated to making sure
that small business has a voice in Washington.
Misti Morningstar, owner of Morningstar Design
and Le Savon stated, “Small businesses create new opportunities
- especially for women and minorities. Women own more than a quarter
of all businesses, and the number of women-owned businesses is
growing. However, even small flucuations in the economy have an
impact on any small business owner. I encourage other small business
owners to make their voices heard on the issues critical to their
business so we can make a difference together. “
Morningstar, who has long supported
Republican ideals, particularly debt reduction and tax reform,
will be a key member of the Council.
