Design wins international award for creative advertising

The Creativity 26 Competition, an international
contest for creativity in advertising, once again attracted a
high number of entries, with more than 7,000 pieces being submitted
from advertising agencies from 30 countries around the world.
Approximately 1,400 pieces were chosen for
publication in the annual book which features the winners. The
end result of Creativity 26 is a full-color, hard-bound annual
with 320 pages, available in the spring of 1997.
The editor of Creativity 26 is David E. Carter,
who has written or edited more than 50 books on the subject of
logos, advertising and corporate graphics.
In addition to his books, he is a frequent
lecturer on his specialty and has conducted corporate identity
seminars on four continents.
The Frederick-based Morningstar Design’s
winning entry is the Morningstar Design T-shirt. The T-shirt was
also an award winner at the 1996 ADDY Awards.
This makes the second international
award for Morningstar Design in the last two years, both are published
in annuals available worldwide.
