in Logo 2005-Big Book of Business Cards

Morningstar Design, Inc., a marketing firm
in downtown Frederick, MD, was selected for publication in “LOGO
2005 – BIG BOOK OF BUSINESS CARDS”, a global publication
by David E. Carter. The winning piece selected was the firm’s
own branding and business card.

competition, said Misti Morningstar, owner, we work extremely
hard to give our clients an edge by offering good branding advice.
Having our own self promotional piece win is quite an honor.”
Work chosen for Logo 2005 will appear in a
384-page, full color hardcover book. The Big Book of Logos Vol.
1 and Vol. 2 were the largest selling graphics books in recent
years. They were listed by Amazon.com as being among the top selling
1% of all books in print in America for a number of years.
Approximately 2,200 business cards appear
in the new book –The Big Book of Business Cards and nearly
600 design firms from all over the world submitted work –
with over 7,000 entries from 37 states and 20 different countries.
The book will be published late in 2005.
The Morningstar Design staff is currently
working on a series of marketing CDs about branding and other
marketing essentials that will be available to companies looking
to boost their profit through better marketing and advertising.
These materials will also be used as presentations in tradeshow
seminars covering multiple industries across the nation and abroad
in 2006.
